Postcrossing around the Globe

The holiday season seems to have flown past and I have been unable to blog anything here on my Postcrossing blog; which is a shame really... So, here what has happened with my cards I have sent to their new homes: 1 December 2013   My postcard GB-485070 to Liesjen in Netherlands has arrived! It reached its destination in 19 days after traveling 512 km !   My postcard  GB-485082 to Bakoru in France has arrived! It reached its destination in 19 days after traveling 328 km !   2 December 2013   My postcard  GB-485079 to strawberry1 in Czech Republic has arrived! It reached its destination in 20 days after traveling 1,046 km !   3 December 2013   My postcard  GB-485074 to Alexeeva21 in Ukraine has arrived! Registered at 17:32 today: Hurray!  GB-479829  was received! The  postcard GB-479829  to  Olchick  in  Ukraine  has arrived! It reached its destination in  7 days  after traveling  1,724 km ! Olchick wrote you a message: "Thanks a lot for the card, the images are unusual but nice. In my country ( if you happen to know ) we prefer coffee to tea, that is why most rooms are the so called Coffee time rooms."

Cards going to Germany (@inlovewithpostcrossing via Instgram), Japan, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Taiwan, Finland and USA These three are making their way to Czech Republic, Belarus and Ukraine Which one will arrive first?!

Hurray!  GB-468004  was received! The postcard  GB-468004  to ksusha20082008  in Ukraine  has arrived! It reached its destination in  21 days  after traveling  2,772 km ! ksusha20082008 wrote you a message: "Thank you very much for the card! good luck"

Today I registered two cards that I received in yesterday's post: This is card BY-691962 from Showtime  in Belarus. The card is showing a view of Minsk and the footbal stadium. The card travelled a distance of 1,902 km (1,182 miles) and it took 9 days for it to arrive.        This is card DE-1787243  from tentacion111 in Germany. This card is wishing me a "Frohe weihnachten und ein gutes neues jahr"; which means " Merry christmas and a Happy New Year"; cute right?! The card travelled a distance of 984 km (611 miles) and it took only 6 days to arrive!   My card GB-381935 that I sent to Di-di in the Ukraine also arrived yesterday; it had travelled  2,181 km (1,355 miles) and it had taken 10 days to arrive.   So currently; here are my stats as of 11th December:   Exciting right?
