Postcrossing around the Globe

This weekend has been a busy one for me; both in the Postcrossing and real life world. I have been working most of it - it pays for Postcrossjng and my crafting - don't forget he bills too! Anyway, I received five cards this weekend: These cards are from The Netherlands (NL-3328487), Belarus (BY-1837742), Germany (DE-4986747), Span (ES-395120) and the Czech Republic (CZ-825162) Aren't they a lovely bunch of cards. I cannot believe I have got so any cards now. I really need to organise them better. How do you think I should do that? In countries? Let me know how you store your collection...

On January 15: My postcard GB-485077 to melanijade in Australia has arrived! It reached its destination in 63 days after traveling 16,497 km ! My postcard GB-498584 to polin4ik29 in Belarus has arrived! It reached its destination in 15 days after traveling 1,902 km ! On January 17: My postcard GB-492138 to yaying0228 in China has arrived! It reached its destination in 44 days after traveling 9,030 km ! On January 25: My postcard GB-479830 to Tanu6e4ka in Belarus has arrived! It reached its destination in 89 days after traveling 2,059 km ! I have also sent off my Lottery Winners cards off to them; the Jack Daniels Cards were won by YanaVYY from the Urkaine and my Diddl card was won by zebra  in China. Congrats to the pair of them. The holiday season seems to have flown past and I have been unable to blog anything here on my Postcrossing blog; which is a shame really... Today I awoke to find FOUR cards (along with other things) though my Post Box...I think that this is most I have ever received at one time...here there are: This is card BY-701945 and it is from Izum in Belarus. It travelled 1,853 km (1,151 miles)and it took 24 days to arrive here. That must be the longest a card from Belarus has taken to get to me. This card SE-44875 from qwert in Sweden. It travelled 1,048 km (651 miles) and it took 3 days to be delivered.   NL-1620108 is from daniquetoen in The Netherlands; cute card right? It travelled 377 km (234 miles) and took only 6 days to arrive here. JP-352517 is from Japan and was sent by mii00017 ; it travelled 9,502 km (5,904 miles) and only took 5 days! That is the quickest I have ever seen a card travel from Asia!

Today I registered two cards that I received in yesterday's post: This is card BY-691962 from Showtime  in Belarus. The card is showing a view of Minsk and the footbal stadium. The card travelled a distance of 1,902 km (1,182 miles) and it took 9 days for it to arrive.        This is card DE-1787243  from tentacion111 in Germany. This card is wishing me a "Frohe weihnachten und ein gutes neues jahr"; which means " Merry christmas and a Happy New Year"; cute right?! The card travelled a distance of 984 km (611 miles) and it took only 6 days to arrive!   My card GB-381935 that I sent to Di-di in the Ukraine also arrived yesterday; it had travelled  2,181 km (1,355 miles) and it had taken 10 days to arrive.   So currently; here are my stats as of 11th December:   Exciting right? How exciting?! I have sent 100 cards! It could have been more if I did not have those few months off. Any how, I am still happy! This week I have sent out another three cards: GB-383344 to Liselot01 in The Netherlands, GB-384222 to Give in Taiwan and GB-384223 to x_TsukiYo_x in Belarus I also entered some lotteries on the Postcrossing forum: UAE christmas postcard lottery, OLD CARD LOTTERY Just a couple at the moment...
