I received FOUR cards this morning....

Today I awoke to find FOUR cards (along with other things) though my Post Box...I think that this is most I have ever received at one time...here there are:

This is card BY-701945 and it is from Izum in Belarus. It travelled 1,853 km (1,151 miles)and it took 24 days to arrive here. That must be the longest a card from Belarus has taken to get to me.

This card SE-44875 from qwert in Sweden. It travelled 1,048 km (651 miles) and it took 3 days to be delivered.

 NL-1620108 is from daniquetoen in The Netherlands; cute card right? It travelled 377 km (234 miles) and took only 6 days to arrive here.

JP-352517 is from Japan and was sent by mii00017; it travelled 9,502 km (5,904 miles) and only took 5 days! That is the quickest I have ever seen a card travel from Asia!

Another card has arrived at their new home...

The best thing about Postcrossing is the emails I receive when a card has arrived at its new home. I found some 'vintage' postcards; they were reproductions of adverts from yesteryears. One of the cards I sent was  GB-1012221  and I am glad that the recipient liked the card. Also, the card I sent to Taiwan has arrived  GB-1012217  - this card was a "colour yourself" card. I have also registered for a Travelling Notebook which will be starting in New Zealand. I do not know if it will ever get to me; as I am still waiting for others to arrive. Is anyone on Munzee or Geocaching? I would love to connect with you all! Stamp You All Later... Jemma

Look what arrived on the 19th January..one of the Travelling Notebooks I am taking part in within the Postcrossing forums... Also, today I received two postcards.   DE-5880559   US-4435754   I am now able to send 18 cards...how exciting! However, I do currently have SEVEN expired cards. I am rather sad about that, as the oldest is March 2016. I will be sending them with the new eighteen I have just got the addresses for.
