Postcrossing around the Globe

Hey everyone, sorry that it has been a while since I last posted about my Postcrossing adventures around the globe. It was actually May when I last posted. I do apologise about that. Some updates; I was made 'inactive' on the project website as I had not sent or received any cards. I have now all active again and read to flood people's postboxes! Sadly the travelling notebooks I signed up for via the forums, never happened as they were either lost or never passed on the next participant - which is a shame! I have shown interest in a new one though -  A day in the life  - I am currently the only participant (other than the organiser); I am hoping that there will be some more people sign up soon! I will also be holding a lottery in the new year, but what to do? I will keep you all posted! I currently I have 17 postcards travelling and one expired card that I have resent. Fingers crossed it will arrive safely!

When I'm not writing, working or Postcrossing I'm in the forums. I am currently taking part in Travelling Notebook and a Round Robin of Postcards . The notebook has not arrived yet; it is currently on its way to the third participant - I'm participant number 9. I have a little wait. I have received two cards as part of the Round Robin; all my cards have been sent. I am in Group #131. There are five participants, including myself in this group. I have also taken part in Group #134; check the Flickr account for those images!

What a quiet April I had! I did not many card and therefore I did not receive many! However, I am in the process of updating my Flickr photos of all my cards! I have so many cards now and I think that I should keep a digital record of them all! If you have not been over to my Flickr account; it is  here How has your April been?

Today is Bank Holiday Monday or Easter Monday and sadly I am working this afternoon. However, this morning I thought that I would write some postcards and pop then in the post on my way to work. Ten Postcrossing postcards making their way to a new home!

This weekend has been a busy one for me; both in the Postcrossing and real life world. I have been working most of it - it pays for Postcrossjng and my crafting - don't forget he bills too! Anyway, I received five cards this weekend: These cards are from The Netherlands (NL-3328487), Belarus (BY-1837742), Germany (DE-4986747), Span (ES-395120) and the Czech Republic (CZ-825162) Aren't they a lovely bunch of cards. I cannot believe I have got so any cards now. I really need to organise them better. How do you think I should do that? In countries? Let me know how you store your collection...

I had originally thought that I had deleted this blog two years ago and it seems that was not the case; strange! It must be fate that it was not deleted! It has been almost two years since I last posted something... Can you believe it? I have now received 400 cards and sent (at time of posting) 397 cards...14 are currently still travelling. I also have 5 expired cards; one being over 212 days! Ouch!
